The deadline to submit your idea(s) is this Friday, February 23 at 5pm.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
This is similar to the online/email roundtables I have run in the past. This time, however, there are prizes involved. While our favorite six submissions will be made public, all those who participate in this competition and follow the guidelines below will get a compilation of ALL the submissions. This should give you a lot of great ideas to be used at your camp in the future.
This competition is open to anyone with a camp program idea.
- It can be any type of program – activity, event, theme, etc.
- It can be a program your camp or organization used to offer, is currently offering, or may offer in the future.
- It can be a program you experienced elsewhere as a camper.
- It can be a program that is just an idea in your head.
- It can be a program for a day camp or an overnight camp.
It doesn’t matter. We just want to hear about your best or favorite camp program(s).
RULES and GUIDELINES
It’s recommended (not mandatory) that submissions be no less than 400 words to cover everything needed.
You must include:
- Name or Title of the Program
- Supplies and Equipment Required
- Target age group
- Main objectives or goals
- Detailed description
You may also want to include (but not mandatory):
- Educational Component
- Safety Measures
- Inclusivity and Accessibility
- Staffing and Training
- Facilities
You may enter the competition with more than one submission.
Photos, PDFs, and other files may be included in your submission if you have them.
PRIZES
The Top Winner will receive $160 worth of downloadable 87福利电影 (a $80 gift card for the Summer Camp Pro Shop and a $80 gift card for the Steal This shop).
Two Runner-Ups will each receive $80 worth of downloadable 87福利电影 (a $40 gift card for the Summer Camp Pro Shop and a $40 gift card for the Steal This shop).
JUDGING
The first round of judging will be done by the SCamp Life podcast hosts (Curt Jackson, Chris Kallal, Kelie Cook, and Shauna Guglielmo). They will choose the top six submissions by the end of the day, Monday, February 26, 2024.
There will then be an open public voting for the six semi-finalists. Anyone can vote for their favorite submission. The public voting will last three days. The last day will be Thursday, February 29, 2024. A link for the public voting will be shared next week in the 爱的色放下载 Facebook group and the 爱的色放下载 Facebook page.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The winners will be announced on the 爱的色放下载 Facebook group on Friday, March 1, 2024. Winners will also be notified by email.
